WELCOMING ALL - The way we welcome new parishioners into our parish speaks volumes on how that new parishioner responds and to their ultimate positive experience.  The new parishioner registration process consisted of completing a form with very little follow-up.  This presented the opportunity for a new ministry to become a bridge between new and current parishioners and to help the newly registered to feel like an important part of the parish community.

This is accomplished with a friendly phone call, an invitation to an Ice Cream Sundae Social, a gathering where new members can learn about the history of Good Shepherd and where current members can share their faith and give witness to their journey opening the path to God for others to follow. 

Welcoming All is a relatively new ministry where we share our experiences and show how our stewardship has become a joyful way of life here at Good Shepherd. Our parish is our “home away from home” and has led us to a personal relationship with our God.
