Daily Bread: Discover the Eucharist in Scripture
Daily Bread: Discover the Eucharist in Scripture explores the biblical roots of the Eucharist and how the earliest Christians understood it as the fulfillment of many Old Testament promises. Based on Dr. Brant Pitre’s book Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist, these daily Lenten reflection videos will radically transform your love for the Blessed Sacrament. View Videos>> |
Drawing Closer to God
Join art teacher Ms. Kim for 10 exciting new Lenten episodes of Drawing Closer to God: A Catholic Art Show for Kids! Follow Christ from the desert to his Passion, death, and Resurrection, learning what it means to turn away from sin and back to God. This Lent, help your children or grandchildren learn to draw closer to God through the beauty of art. As kids follow along and learn new art skills, they also learn to see the connections between the big picture of God's story and their place within it. View Videos>> |
Lenten Reading and Reflections
Let this Lent be not just another Lent, but the beginning of a new life, with new good life long habits making Jesus as the centre of our lives. The Imitation of Christ by Thomas à Kempis helps to concentrate more on interior life and withdraw from the lure of the world. The Imitation is perhaps the most widely read Christian devotional work next to the Bible, and is regarded as a devotional and religious classic.
