The loss of a loved one can be painful for a very long time. Everyone’s grief process is different. You may find yourself jumping back and forth between the stages of grief: anger, denial, depression, bargaining and acceptance. Grief can keep us from living whole and productive lives. We may feel abandoned and isolated. It’s difficult to imagine ever being happy or seeing anything positive or hopeful ever again.
Peace, love and joy are still present within your heart, waiting to be uncovered. Please allow your parish family to help you through these difficult times. We have created some very good Bereavement Groups with you in mind. Give yourself the gift of coming and feeling a bit better. Please call the Parish Outreach office (631 585-4544) and leave your name. You will be contacted with further information.
