Stations of the Cross
Join us each Friday at 7:30pm of Lent as we commemorate the Passion of Christ through the Stations of the Cross. Prayers will be conducted by members of the Parish Staff.
This Lent, spend an hour in prayer and quiet reflection in the presence of our Lord. Every Tuesday 7:30-8:30pm in the daily chapel.
Parish Lenten Retreat
Join us on March 9, 10, and 11 at 7:30pm for our Parish Mission. This year's theme is Create in me a new heart, O God. Talks will be given by Sister Pat Duffy, OP, PhD. The topics each night are:
Monday - What Really Matters (Encounter God)
Tuesday - From Darkness to Light (Mercy)
Wednesday - Overwhelmed or Overjoyed (Joy)
St. Patrick's Dinner Dance
Get your Irish up for an evening, add an 'O' in front of your surname (as in Fr. Jerry O' Ringenbeck) and join the Knights of Columbus for a meal of corn beef and cabbage, beer (of course), soda, and dessert. Step lively with Irish Step Dancers as the DJ plays rollicking Irish tunes. Tickets will be sold after Masses the weekend of February 28 and March 7. $30 per adult, $20 per child ages 4-12. No tickets will be sold at the door.
Deepen your faith this Lent. Small groups meet, reflect on scriptures, and share faith for six weeks of Lent. Both day and evening meeting times. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Lenten Small Group Faith Sharing
Join others in coming together and praying the Mass readings for Lent. Groups start the week after Ash Wednesday, February 24th and 25th, and end by Easter. Choose one set of meetings: Tuesdays 7pm or 7:30pm, Wednesdays 10am. More groups will be added if needed. Give yourself the gift of deepening your faith this Lent.
Welcome to the Internet site of the Parish of the Good Shepherd. Our Parish is made up of over 4,200 households, ranging from single people to families who are just starting out, to those who have called the Parish of the Good Shepherd “home” for a number of generations.
Hopefully, the various features of this site, some of which include descriptions of the various ministries and organizations, resources for living your Catholic Faith, the history of the parish and a virtual tour of the church, will enable you to know more about the parish if you are already a parishioner or give you a sense of us if you are just “visiting”.
May Jesus the Good Shepherd hold you close to His heart.
